Helicopter Heroine

This biography details the life of the first woman to fly a rescue helicopter into combat zones.  Captain Valerie Andre completed 129 missions during the French Indochina war.  After the war she continued to be an innovator in military aviation.  The hard cover book with 422 pages was written by Charles Morgan Evans a founding curator of the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, CA.
